MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) -- West Virginia men's basketball coach Bob Huggins may have lost his balance, but not his sense of humor. Not long after tripping on an airport tarmac and hitting his head Thursday afternoon, Huggins was making jokes about the incident. The 54-year-old said the doctor told him his face would look a lot better if he didn't fall on it so much. Huggins was checking his cell phone messages when he tripped on a cone. Athletic director Ed Pastilong says the coach suffered a bump on the head but never lost consciousness. Huggins was taken to a Charlotte, N.C.-area hospital to be checked and was released that evening. By 9:30 p.m., he and his traveling party were on a plane headed back to Morgantown. Huggins said his injury was nothing serious. Copyright 2008 Associated Press. All rights reserved.
