SIOC's Ideas for the Summer

Bored this summer? Check out Sex and the City. :: AP
The summer has arrived, and if you're still looking for things to do, SIOC has you covered. We'd start by having you attend a tryout (June 1 in NYC, June 14 in LA) for Human Tetris, then perhaps a road trip to New Orleans (or take a rickshaw through India if that's your thing). For the lazy people, we recommend a music festival (Sasquatch! or Bonnaroo look to be the two best) or catching a showing of Sex and the City (and the lovely Kristin Davis). Don't worry if you missed the opening -- it didn't pan out that well for some people.
ASU Hotties
It's no secret that Arizona State has some of our nation's best-looking students. So for the ladies, we present two favorites from the baseball team. For the men, Don Chavez has some shots of the cheerleading squad at a Halloween party last October.
Nobody Parties Like Grandpa
We don't know much about California's Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, but judging from these Memorial Day party pics, it looks like someone forgot to leave their grandpa at home.
College Football Coaches Gone Wild
Third Saturday in Blogtober found the webcam videos coaches are using to lure in recruits. Who knew Les Miles was such a fan of Halo 2?
Trouble in Hoya-Land?

Are Georgetown players getting sick of John Thompson III? :: AP
Sophomores Vernon Macklin and Jeremiah Rivers became the sixth and seventh player to transfer during Coach John Thompson III's four-year tenure, leaving some to wonder if JT3 is the problem at Georgetown.
The Pain of Ohio University
Which Ohio University student has a worse injury -- this one or this one?
Give Everyone an A!
Or else you'll be like this Norfolk State professor, who was denied tenure because he failed too many students.
Another Wacky British Sport
We had no idea this was such a popular sport until we found this video of the UK's Annual Gloucestershire Cheese-Rolling.
Pop Culture Nugget
It appears that Axel Foley is returning for another Beverly Hills Cop.

Ohio State Channels Tom Emansky

The M Zone scored this surprisingly entertaining video of Ohio State coach John Cooper teaching the fine art of tackling.

Ouch!

The office can be a dangerous place. Just ask this lady.
