BIOGRAPHY: Three-year starter used at both fullback and tight end. All-Conference selection as a senior after totaling 36/418/3. Junior-year numbers included 29/253/1.

POSITIVES: Hard-working tight end who.s at his best as an intermediate target. Plays with good body control, gets vertical, and adjusts to pull down the ball from the air. Displays good eye/hand coordination, makes the reception in stride, and comes away with the difficult one-handed catch. Effectively uses the sidelines and shields opponents away from the ball with his frame. Blocks with good pad level, quickly gets his hands into defenders, and works hard until the whistle blows.

NEGATIVES: Lacks the second gear and does not create mismatches in the secondary. Not a dominant blocker who gets a lot of movement at the point.

ANALYSIS: Santi is a solid prospect with the ability to make a roster at the next level as a second tight end.
