BIOGRAPHY: Three-year starter awarded varying degrees of All-Conference honors since his freshman campaign. Totals last season included 49/2/15 after 30/1/6 the previous year.
POSITIVES: Productive college cornerback who impacted the Penn State program the moment he arrived. Quick pedaling in reverse, fluid turning his hips to transition with opponents, and has a closing burst of speed. Immediately locates the ball in the air and has an excellent break to the pass. Physical and fights hard to defend the throw.
NEGATIVES: Does not play to his 40 speed and struggles staying step-for-step with opponents downfield. Indecisive, displays hesitation to his game, and loses a sense of where he is on the field.
ANALYSIS: King is a quality cornerback when on his game and he has opposing signal-callers throwing away from him. He comes off an uninspired junior campaign in which he fell short of expectations. As a result, he will be under-drafted.
