Position:
DT
Class:
Sr
School: Conference: Ht., Wt.:
6-2.5, 317
40 Time:
5.07

BIOGRAPHY: Four-year starter awarded All-Conference honors as a senior after totaling 50/7/1.5. Junior-year numbers included 42/3.5/1.5. Missed time during the 2006 season after having his knee scoped. Tore his left ACL in the spring of 2007. Later arrested in August of 2007 for possession of marijuana.

POSITIVES: Nice-sized, athletic defensive lineman who makes plays when focused on the task at hand. Plays low to the ground with leverage, explodes off the snap, and keeps his feet moving up the field. Fluid changing direction, makes plays down the line and out to the flanks, and displays good movement skills. Smart, remains disciplined with assignments, and locates the ball. Used at both the end and tackle positions.

NEGATIVES: Engulfed at the point by single blocker and easily held up by opponents. Does not always go full speed. Has struggled with injuries the past two seasons, which hurt his conditioning.

ANALYSIS: Harrison has shown flashes of being a dominant game-changer on the defensive line the past three seasons. Injuries and off-field incidents have slowed his progress since his junior campaign. He must start to show some durability as well as determination to have a shot at the next level and to meet the potential NFL scouts feel he has.
